If I needed to make a shelter, I wouldn't build it next to a steep slope
If i made a snow cave, i would line it with branches
If I spent a night in the open, I wouldn't sleep directly on snow
If I made a fire, I wouldn't light it in a closed shelter
If I had a fire, I would melt snow and drink hot water
If I had a fire, i would make black smoke as signal
