Dear Sir or Madam,
'To choose a good job you should look and see further than people think the job is about'
That is something my aunt used to say to me and for me it summarises why I have chosen to be a doctor. Due to a fatal illness of my family member, I had an opportunity to get wide experience with doctors and treatment they offer. I quickly realised that it is all not about healing patients but about making great impression and conducting experiments organised by pharmaceutical companies. And I strongly believe that I am a very appropriate person to perform it all.
I am ambitious and very successful oriented which in consequence makes me hard-working and persistent. For years I have been studying advanced chemistry and physics so I could risk calling myself an expert in these areas. Such knowledge lets me choose the best medicine not because it is said to be the best, but because I know the ingredients. What is more, I could mix them freely to obtain the most expected results as well as experiment to discover new ways of so called treatment.
I have already worked in a big pharmacy where I could learn what it is all about in medicine. I also learnt the benefits doctors get by using just recommended treatment.
In my free time I love learning and getting deeper into matters of compounds and elements and their influence on living organisms. The only thing I feel sorry for is that I have no opportunities to check my theories in practice and I hope your university will give me a chance to do so.
I know that being a doctor is a challenging career choice, but I infer from my history that I would be a very suitable for this job and to study at your university as well.
