Brown the minced meat in a large frying pan.
Add the diced onion and chopped garlic cloves. Fry until glazed.
Pour in 500 ml of tomato passata and season with salt, pepper, oregano and basil to taste. Pour the rest of the tomato paste into the bottom of the ovenproof dish.
Lay 4 lasagne sheets, a layer of stuffing and a layer of sliced mozzarella cheese. Repeat the process. Cover the mozzarella cheese with the lasagne sheets and pour in the rest of the stuffing.
Place the whole dish in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes, after that put the mozzarella cheese and bake for another 10 minutes.
