Supermarkets wastes food.
Supermarkets sell basically everything. And it sells vegetables, fruits, meat etc. And this kind of food can go bad quickly. So when no one buys the food, they are forced to trow it away.
Supermarkets are basically the 10% food waster in the Us! and that's a lot.
I think that supermarkets can reduce food waste by selling less, and if the stock is gone they put new stuff in. But what they are doing now is that if half the shelf of fruit is gone, they stack it up again, and they forget about the stuff that's under.
