My town
Hello guys, I am Adam and I live in Łódź. In the past Łódź was small, boring, cheap, peaceful, clean, ugly and there was a lot of fresh air. There were small shops and incomplete restaurants and there weren’t many ice-cream stalls and parks. Łódź wasn’t busy then.
Today Łódź is different. It’s bigger, more interesting, more modern, more expensive, busier, dirtier, but at the same time prettier and the air is more polluted than in the past. There are many more shops, galleries, parks, ice-cream stalls and cinemas. Nowadays Łódź is busier than in the past.
I live a village called Janów. It’s an estate, there are lots of houses and gardens. I live here together with my family.
Formerly we lived in a flat on Olsztyńska street. The air there was more polluted than in Janów. When I looked down through the window there, I couldn’t see anything that was interesting. There were only cars, streets, people walking, not many trees and lots of lanterns.
I prefer to live in a village and in a house, because I like grass, gardens, nice landscapes and playing in the garden. Generally, Łódź is great, but the outskirts of Łódź are even better.
