☑️ STOPNIOWANIE PRZYMIOTNIKÓW: - wyjaśnienie  

> krótkich:

  • do wyższego stopnia dodajemy końcówkę -er (w przypadku gdy przymiotnik kończy się na literę "y" to "odcinamy" ją, i zamiast niej dajemy "i" a potem dodajemy -er)
  • do najwyższego stopnia przed przymiotnikiem dajemy "the" i dodajemy końcówkę -est

> długich:

  • do wyższego stopnia przed przymiotnikiem dajemy "more"
  • do najwyższego stopnia przed przymiotnikiem stawiamy "the most"

> wyjątków:  

  • bad → worse → the worst
  • good → better → the best
  • far → farther → the farthest
  • more → more → the most

 

W przymiotnikach jednosylabowych dublujemy ostatnią spółgłoskę jeśli między spółgłoską jest samogłoska:

 

  1. thin → thinner → the thinnest
  2. big → bigger → the biggest

Słówko than oznacza niż i charakteryzuję się dla stopnia wyższego.    

Słówka as ... as oznacza tak ... jak.
