Dumplings with meat
Ingredients:
3 cups of wheat flour
1 teaspoon of salt
50 g of butter
1 cup of hot water
Stuffing:
700 g of boiled beef (soup, broth or cooked until soft with soup vegetables), pork or poultry
2 onions
3 tablespoons of oil
salt
pepper
Execution:
I poured flour into a bowl, added salt and butter, cut into small pieces. I kneaded the dough by pouring hot water over it until I had a smooth, flexible dough.
I heat the oil in a frying pan, add finely diced onion and fry it until golden brown. I grind the meat in a food processor (sometimes I do it with a blender). I added 3-4 tablespoons of fried onion to the minced meat, seasoned with salt and pepper, and mixed until smooth.
I rolled out the dough on a floured board. I cut out circles (I usually do it with a mold or a glass) and put a portion of the stuffing on each of them, and then stick the edges of the dumplings together.
In a large pot I boiled water with salt. I put dumplings in boiling water and cooked them for about 3 minutes from the moment they came to the surface. I serve the dumplings with fried onion
